     Music Café offers private individual music lessons. Each single lesson is 30 minutes long and costs $24.00. You may schedule a longer lesson if you wish. Lessons are currently given in our main studio area. We teach everything necessary to play music, including notation (note reading), rhythm, technique, ear training, sight reading, and improvisation.

     Lessons are available on a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and beginner violin. Our instructors teach various levels and styles and are able to adapt to each individual’s learning style. 

     Students may begin lessons at any time of the year. We are open year- round. No contract is required to sign up. You may schedule one lesson or regular weekly or biweekly lessons. The choice is yours. Generally, we recommend weekly lessons (One 30 minute lesson every week). This allows a student adequate time in between lessons to practice and a regular enough schedule to keep focused on their goals. Lessons may be scheduled over the phone or in person.
